Setting Up Day Passes
What Is a Day Pass?
A day pass gives a member access to your workspace for the whole day at a flat price. No specific desk is assigned — it covers general access.
Day passes are ideal for walk-in visitors, occasional remote workers, or trial members who aren't ready to commit to a subscription.
Creating a Day Pass
- Go to Inventory → Day Passes
- Click Create day pass
- Fill in:
- Name — e.g., "Day Pass", "Visitor Day Access"
- Location — which site this applies to
- Price — the flat all-day rate
- Description — shown to members in the portal
- Save
How Day Passes Work
- One price covers the full day — there are no hourly or half-day rate options
- Members purchase a day pass in advance from the portal
- The pass is valid for the selected date only
Deactivating a Day Pass
If you want to stop offering day passes temporarily, deactivate the listing. It disappears from the portal immediately. Re-activate it when needed.
Common Questions
Can I limit how many day passes are sold per day? Yes — turn on Manage Availability and set the quantity to the maximum number of visitors you can accommodate.
Is a day pass different from a hot desk booking? Yes. A hot desk booking reserves a specific desk. A day pass gives general access without a specific desk assignment — useful if you don't need to track individual seats for walk-ins.
Can I offer a multi-day pass (e.g., 5-day bundle)? Bundle pricing is not built into day passes. For recurring access, consider creating a plan with a monthly or weekly rate instead.
